Overseas Chinese Economic and Cultural Cooperation Pilot Zone is located in the core area of Shantou city. With obvious location advantages, good harbor conditions, strong industrial vitality, rich overseas Chinese resources, the Pilot Zone has the potentials available for fast development. As the only one national strategic platform featuring both "overseas Chinese" and "culture", the development of the Pilot Zone will be guided by high-end industry, innovation, talent, modern economy and information industry, with the goal of building the Pilot Zone into a driving engine in east Guangdong and an important platform for realizing revitalized development.

East Coast New Town

Highlight the coastal features, construct the function areas of finance and business, conference and exhibition, central business, cultural originality, to construct the cluster of Shantou modern service industry.
